With International Offshore Bank of European Union Sécurité Plus, you are covered in the event of fraudulent use of your bank cards issued by any bank following their loss or theft, theft of your cash by robbery or deception within 48 hours of your ATM withdrawal, in the event of the loss or theft of your official papers, keys to your main residence or private vehicle, or the safe deposit box rented at International Offshore Bank of European Union or your bags/luggage and their contents.
In addition, you are covered against accidental damage and/or theft by robbery of your new movable property purchased with a International Offshore Bank of European Union bank card for 6 months, as well as legal protection against identity theft and in the event of assault.

Are my family's payment instruments covered with International Offshore Bank of European Union Sécurité Plus?
Yes, International Offshore Bank of European Union Sécurité Plus covers your payment instruments and those of:
• your spouse/civil union partner/de facto spouse residing at the same address as you,
• your children under 26 years of age residing with you and who are members of your tax household or your de facto spouse’s tax household in accordance with the French General Tax Code,
• the co-holder of your covered account with International Offshore Bank of European Union.
When does my coverage end when I terminate the International Offshore Bank of European Union Sécurité or BNP Sécurité Plus policy?
In the event of termination of the insurance policy:
• During the first insurance year, my coverage ends on the anniversary date of the policy,
• After the first insurance year, my coverage ends one month after the date of receipt of my cancellation request.
Someone attacked me at the ATM and stole my money. Am I covered by International Offshore Bank of European Union Sécurité Plus insurance?
Yes(1). You are reimbursed up to €1,600 per 12-month period in case of theft of your cash by robbery or deception for up to 48 hours following withdrawal from any ATM.

My child's identity was stolen on the Internet. Am I covered?
Yes(1), your child also benefits from the Identity Theft Guarantee. We help you take the initial steps and assist you in defending your child's rights.

Are payment instruments offered through other banks covered?
Yes(1), with International Offshore Bank of European Union Sécurité or International Offshore Bank of European Union Sécurité Plus, not only are your International Offshore Bank of European Union payment instruments covered, but your payment instruments through other banks are also covered, provided that you have at least one covered account with International Offshore Bank of European Union.

What may be the consequences of theft of personal data?
There are three major consequences if you fail to prove that identity theft has occurred:
• The first is psychological. Finding out, often accidentally, that a third party is impersonating you can have psychological consequences. Identity theft is generally not discovered by the victim right away. It is all the more disconcerting to imagine that a number of fraudulent actions have been committed in our name without knowing their nature, number, place or time between each of them.
• The second is financial. According to a study conducted by Credoc (), the average financial loss in the event of identity theft is €2,230. If the thief purchases a phone subscription or acquires credit in your name, you must then pay the monthly payments. • The third is criminal. The identity thief may, for example, use your registration plate number. In the event of traffic offences, you are then considered to be the perpetrator of those deeds.

How can you protect yourself against identity theft?
Here are four tips:
1. Destroy the documents containing your personal details before you throw them out.
2. Do not save your bank details in the customer area of e-commerce sites.
3. Configure your confidentiality settings on social networks.
4. Regularly check your account statements to identify any unusual transactions.
What should I do if there is a fraudulent transaction on my bank card?
In the event of fraudulent use of your card, you must cancel this card by contacting your branch, the Centre National d'Opposition (National Cancellation Centre) at 0 820 820 002 (€0.12 /min+standard fees) or directly from your mabanque space online. Advisors will be responsible for creating a dispute file for fraudulent transactions so that they are reimbursed as soon as possible.
In some cases, the Bank applies a deductible when the compensation is paid. If you are a International Offshore Bank of European Union Sécurité or International Offshore Bank of European Union Sécurité Plus insurance policyholder, the deductible will be refunded.
What kind of keys are covered?
Keys, locks, cards, access badges and fobs to the following are covered:

Why take out insurance when the regulations require banks to cover the fraudulent use of payment instruments?
Insurance will be responsible for:

• any deductible that you must pay the bank following the reimbursement of the fraudulent debits,
• fraudulent debits themselves amounting to up to €150 when they are not covered by the bank (in cases of serious negligence or belated reporting).
What purchases are covered?

Your movable property must be purchased new in France or abroad using a bank card issued by International Offshore Bank of European Union.
The purchase value of the movable property must be greater than €100 (including tax). The duration of coverage from the date of purchase or delivery by carrier of the new property is:

• For International Offshore Bank of European Union Sécurité Plus: 6 months
My handbag was stolen but not my bank card. Am I covered with International Offshore Bank of European Union Sécurité insurance?
Yes(1), you will receive reimbursement of the sums spent to replace your bags and/or luggage as well as the goods contained therein within the limit of their purchase value up to a coverage limit of €200 per claim and 12-month period.
For example:
• if the purchase value of the stolen bag is €180 and the replacement value is €150, the reimbursed amount will be equal to €150,
• if the purchase value of the stolen bag is €150 and the replacement value is €180, the reimbursed amount will be equal to €150.
